Calle Gumiel de San Jose Granada
Artist
Margaret Merry
Medium
Painting - Watercolour
Description
An alley in the Albaicin, Granada. I have always been inspired to paint the old quarters of Granada, the Albaicin, Sacromonte and the Alhambra. Spring and Autumn are the best times to visit the city but, because of Covid and lockdowns we have been unable to go to Granada for two years until this month. This painting of one of the narrow, cobbled streets of the Albaicin looking across to the Alhambra is the first in a new series of watercolours I hope to paint of this beautiful city.
I sell my original paintings to collectors all over the world and am happy to quote for this watercolour including delivery direct to your home.
