May is a beautiful month in Granada. The heavy rain in April fell as snow on the Sierra Nevada. From the Albaicin, the sierras provide a perfect backdrop for the views towards the Alhambra. The peaceful gardens of the mosque is one of my favourite places to paint from.
I sell my original paintings to collectors from all over the world and am happy to quote for this watercolour including delivery direct to your home.
Born in Chelmsford, England. I grew up in Falmouth but lived and worked as an artist in Truro from 1970 until I moved to Spain. I have been painting since I was 2 years old but I also have a love of nature, my animals, classical music and dance. In 2002 I moved to Spain and now live in a cortijo near Alhabia, Almeria, Southern Spain. The scenery around my home provides endless, beautiful subjects for landscape and seascape painting and I get inspiration from the dramatic landscapes of Andalucia and the old cities, towns and villages which I usually paint in watercolour.
