Description
I started this painting of the women of Terque over a month ago. They were dressed in traditional costume at the village lavadero during the annual day of celebrating the old way of life in La Alpujarra. After a fall last month, when I badly bruised my right side, I was unable to work on it again until last week. At last I can show you the finished watercolour. Terque is my neighbouring village in La Alpujarra, Almeria, Spain.
