Description

Sleeping cat in Santa Cruz. It is summer now in La Alpujarra Almeriense, Almeria, Andalucia, Spain and during the heat of the day you will find very few people outside in the streets of the villages. However, there will always be cats basking in the sunshine. I thought this little corner in Santa Cruz de Marchena would make a charming subject for this watercolour and a very good exercise in painting light and shade.
